all right, loves. i need to do some research on you. if any of the following questions are compelling to you, please email me.
if you have happened to stumbled across my blog on the very bottom of searches for "st. joseph, real estate agent," welcome.
the paper of the week is about st. joseph statues and the practice of burying them upside-down on a piece of property on is trying to sell, in order to aid the process. so...
1. have you ever participated in this kind of ritual? if so, what happened? what were the results? were you surprised?
2. has anyone in your family done this? what happened? what do they think about it? what do you?
3. have you heard of this ritual? if so, what do you think about it? why?
thanks, loves.
(and, just for the record, i own my own statue of "st. joseph, home seller kit." purchased by greg, at the mall. the mall. the carmelite chapel and giftshop at the mall.)

wow. This is all news to me. It makes me wonder if there is a statue buried in our yard somewhere from the the last people that sold it or any of the 10 people before them.
Who knows maybe we have this amazing underground garden full of statues!
Since I brought the statue home, I've got some "lookers" which we haven't had in the past 5 months. He was just sitting on the china cabinet. I just buried him in the front lawn, I'll let you know what happens. He's travelled from NY to Fl and I hope to bring him back to NY...hopefully soon.
My parents purchased a St. Joseph statue from a local religious gift store about 2 years ago. They buried it in their front yard next to the for sale sign. They were very desperate as their home was on the corner of 2 very busy streets. Less than 3 weeks later they got a good offer. Other homes in the area were taking 3 to 6 months to sell and theirs sold in less than a month. My home is now for sale and I just buried a St. Joseph statue next to my for sale sign on Friday. I'm saying the prayer everyday and keeping my fingers crossed that it works for us. I really want to be in sunny Arizona. Not cold, dreary, Cleveland Ohio.
